Quick-Step Alpha vinyl flooring is extremely versatile and durable, making it the perfect choice for any room in your home.  It’s rigid core means in most cases you don’t need to prepare your subfloor before fitting. Its water-repellent technology combined with its advanced watertight click system ensures a fully waterproof floor. Alpha vinyl flooring is exceptionally thin and is underfloor heating compatible.

Fit – Unizip (advanced watertight fit)

The Unizip technology solves this inconvenience. Unilin invented a locking profile that makes it possible to lay a herringbone floor with only one type of panel. The Unizip profile positions the tongue and groove around the panel in such a way that the short side of the panel can be locked into the long side of the adjacent panel, without having to compromise on locking strength. Unizip is available for all main types of flooring.

Underlay built into the board for an easier install. Revolutionary new Unizip click system means that laying a Ciro herringbone floor only requires one type of plank. For a traditional herringbone floor you’d normally need two types that click together on different sides. This unique design results in less waste and less complication – so you can say hello to your beautiful new herringbone floor in no time!

 

 Acclimatisation

Quick-Step Livyn needs 2 days to acclimatise to its surroundings before it can be installed. It should be left in the room where it is going to be installed, which should be dry (no new drying plaster or concrete) and heated to between 18 to 30°.

 

Maintenance & Aftercare

Quick-Step vinyl floors are easy to look after and maintain. Simply sweep on a daily basis with a soft bristle brush to remove any dirt or dust, and then clean on a weekly basis (more often if needed) with Quick-Step cleaning kit spray mop. Use felt protector pads on the bottom of furniture and never drag heavy or sharp object across the floor. This will ensure that you floor keeps looking at its best for as long as possible.
