Product Advantages

Osmo UV Protection Oil is a clear oil for use in outdoor areas

Microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage.

Water-repellent surface will not crack, peel, flake or blister.

For a UV protection of factor 12, in comparison to untreated wood when 2 coats are applied

*under normal climate conditions, 23°C/50% R.H.

Preparation

Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 20%).

UV Protection Oil is ready to use, please do not thin.

Stir well before use.

Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed.

Coverage

1 litre will cover approx 18m² with one coat (on smooth and planed/cut surfaces)

Application

Apply one coat to the clean and dry wood with a natural bristle brush or microfibre roller

Allow to dry for approx 12 hours with good ventilation then apply a second coat

Cleaning

Clean tools with Osmo brush cleaner/thinners

Storage / Shelf life
Shelf life: Up to 5 years if kept dry and tightly closed. If thickened by frost then store at room temperature for 24-36 hrs at room temperature* before use
