Overview

Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner Spray is the clear spray version of Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner. It’s designed to clean and refresh a range of interior waxed or oiled surfaces including wooden floors, furniture, worktops and more. The specially formulated spray cleans, rejuvenates and restores oiled and waxed surfaces that have become dull or worn. It’s particularly useful on wood that has an existing Osmo Polyx Oil finish.

Please note: Using this product with a white coloured finish will turn the finish an off-white, creamy colour. It is recommended to use Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner White (3087) instead.

 

Preparation

Wooden surfaces to be treated with Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner Spray must be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and other surface contaminants.

Surfaces should be dry wiped or swept with a clean microfibre cloth or dust mop before treating with Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner. Floor surfaces that are prone to heavier traffic such as commercial areas should be damp mopped with Osmo Wash and Care and an Osmo Micro Mop, then buffed dry prior to application.

 

Application

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the tin at all times.

1. Shake the container thoroughly before use
2. Hold spray can upright and spray sparingly 30cm away from the surface
3. Massage in evenly using a dry, lint-free cloth
4. For deep stains, scuffs and minor scratches, lightly abrade the affected area with a finishing pad or scotch pad to remove the mark, stain or scratch, then work Liquid Wax Cleaner Spray into the affected area

 

Aftercare

Re-application of Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner Spray is recommended 2 to 3 times a year, depending on how the wood finish is wearing.
