Product Advantages

• Osmo End Grain Sealer is used to protect the end grain of the wood from cracks resulting from weathering
• Swelling, shrinking, and leaking of wood extractives are reduced
• For use on hard and softwoods including Bangkirai, Teak, Garapa, Pine, Spruce, Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Larch

 

Technical Spec

Drying time: 3-4hrs*
*under normal climate conditions, 23°C/50% R.H.

Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity can increase the drying time

 

Preparation

Wood surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (moisture content max. 20%).

Osmo End Grain Sealing Wax is ready to use, please do not thin.

Stir well before use.

 

Coverage:

Approx. 5m² with one coat (approx. 600 deck boards on both ends). This is based on smooth cut/planed surfaces, rough surfaces may reduce coverage

 

Application

Apply generously to the clean and dry end grains with a natural bristle brush,

For optimal protection apply twice

 

Cleaning

Clean tools with Osmo brush cleaner/thinners

 

Storage / Shelf life

Shelf life: Up to 5 years if kept dry and tightly closed. If thickened by frost then store at room temperature for 24-36 hrs at room temperature* before use
